My students, I am pleased through the website of the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Africa for Huamnities and applied Science to offer you my best regards, wishing everyone success and advancement to the highest ranks of science and learning. I also have the honor as the current head of the Petroleum Engineering Department at the University of Africa, to present to you a brief overview of this department, asking God Almighty for success.
First of all, as you have learned that the oil and gas sector represents the main fund of the country’s economy, so the provision of specialized pepople of engineers in this field has become an ian importnat requirement for covered the needs for specialized labor in oil and gas market , from this point the opening of Department of Petroleum Engineering, University of Africa.
The Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Africa was established in the year of 2019 as one of the engineering departments at the university, and the department seeks to provide an integrated learning environment for its students capable of absorbing specialized petroleum engineering sciences, and integrating them correctly in an academic and scientific atmosphere that lives up to their expectations and achieves their aspirations and establishes scientific sobriety in line with the goals of the university, this department look for to provide all the capabilities necessary for the success of the educational process from equipped classrooms as well as laboratories, which are a very important part of the educational process in the department. The department has a group of professors who have academic experience and competence in the field of petroleum engineering.
So, the petroleum engineering major is one of the disciplines that allows its graduates to work in unlimited fields with government and foreign oil companies, in addition to the possibility of self-employment with private companies investing in this field.
This is ... and studies will start, God willing, in this spring 2019 semester for the 2018/2019 academic year. The study will be in a semester system, and the duration of the study in the department is Ten semesters, during which general and specialized subjects are distributed according to an integrated study plan approved by a specialized scientific committee at the university.
